What to expect

Your first visit includes a full consultation, health history review, and examination. Dr. Pineda will discuss her findings and recommended treatment before beginning any care.

Is it safe?

Chiropractic care is one of the safest forms of healthcare available. Adjustments are adapted for pregnancy, infants, children, and seniors — no one-size-fits-all approach here.

How many visits?

Every patient is different. Some feel relief in 2–3 visits; others benefit from ongoing wellness care. Dr. Pineda will give you an honest, personalized recommendation at your first visit.

Acupuncture needles in a gentle treatment session at Vida Family Wellness

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is one of the oldest healing systems in the world — and one of the most well-researched. By inserting ultra-fine needles at specific points along the body's meridian pathways, acupuncture restores the natural flow of energy (Qi) and activates the body's own healing response.

Dr. Pineda is a licensed acupuncturist (LAc) with deep training in both traditional Chinese medicine and modern clinical applications. Her acupuncture treatments are gentle, relaxing, and highly effective — often complementing chiropractic care for faster, more lasting results.

  • Chronic and acute pain relief
  • Stress, anxiety, and insomnia
  • Pregnancy-related nausea and discomfort
  • Hormonal balance and menstrual health
  • Digestive issues and fatigue
  • Headaches and migraines
  • Immune system support

Myofascial Release

Fascia is the connective tissue that wraps around every muscle, bone, nerve, and organ in your body. When fascia becomes tight, restricted, or inflamed — from injury, posture, stress, or pregnancy — it can cause pain, limit movement, and resist other forms of treatment.

Myofascial release uses gentle, sustained pressure to release these restrictions from the inside out. Unlike deep tissue massage, it works with the fascial system directly — creating lasting changes in tissue quality and function.

  • Chronic tension and tightness that doesn't respond to stretching
  • Pregnancy-related round ligament and hip tightness
  • Postpartum recovery and pelvic floor support
  • Scar tissue and post-surgical restrictions
  • Improved range of motion and flexibility
  • Fibromyalgia and chronic pain conditions

Cupping therapy tools and treatment at Vida Family Wellness Eagle Rock

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is one of the oldest therapeutic techniques in Traditional Chinese Medicine — and it has exploded in popularity in modern wellness care for good reason. By placing cups on the skin and creating suction, cupping draws blood flow to the surface, decompresses tight muscle tissue, and stimulates the lymphatic system.

The result: deep tension release, improved circulation, reduced inflammation, and a profoundly relaxing treatment experience. Many patients describe cupping as a "reverse massage" — instead of pressing down, the cups lift and open.

  • Deep muscle tension and knots
  • Respiratory conditions and congestion
  • Circulation and lymphatic support
  • Stress relief and nervous system regulation
  • Complement to chiropractic and acupuncture
  • Athletic recovery and performance

Note: Cupping often leaves temporary circular marks on the skin that fade within a few days. These are not bruises — they are a sign of increased blood flow and lymphatic activity in that area.
